Dial-a-Sky is part of the television and film realm of Positiv Tolls Tolich Toggle Dominika:
Radiating from the same core aesthetic and temperament as www.Tolich-Toggle.com.
Still in development phase, it is based in Christchurch, New Zealand.
It will be a television channel which has its own agendas, own manifesto, all in serious competition with contemporary TV channels. It is of a slightly schizoid mould.
More than a conventional channel - more like a destination or a ritual.
A slightly old-fashioned, tactile quality that can will work well against today’s swipe-and-scroll TV.
Dial-a-Sky will have one or two quotes said from the website: www.SloganInstitute.com each day.
From the Institute. Then the sky.
Access on demand (“dial”) rather than a fixed schedule.
A channel you request. A sky that answers. You dial. The sky arrives.
Some skies are outside. Some are made here.
This is hypnotic work, compete with it while being anything but ourselves.
The sky as the other actor, haunting, droning. No subscription.
The sky does not explain how it is paid for.
Dial-a-Sky is being developed as an alternative to Sky TV. All they do is screw more money out of you. You can't stay on there forever; it is an annoying little habit valued at any price.
Sky is treated as paid habit and forecast.
Sky TV is a boredom tapper in general, like being interlocked with a farm kitchen with no opposite extreme. It is for people that complain about anything without motif.
It loses a lot of its originality. It is no longer a trip, a journey, whatever.
Dial-a-Sky is a free to air channel that treats the sky as cinema and refuses the paid bulletin; we need a room, a desk, and fascination, not a satellite fleet.
Squeezing the sky for money can never be taken for granted.
It is how the station stays a sky and still keeps the lights on.
At the moment, we are just sort of making do with captivating trouble coming, such as revenue gathering. Revenue anxiety not in moderation.
The infamy goal and the sanctuary integrity do not quietly cancel each other out.
Dial-a-Sky’s interest in the sky as something more than ordinary transmission or routine forecast, and it quietly elevates cinematic treatment over every day meteorological experience.
Sentiments uttered low and uncredentialed as one coughs up a falling star.
It is packed full of rhetoric which has no ceiling effect.
Anything too numb to prosecute stays off the radar.
This is a Tolich Toggle satellite, not a Sky clone.
All shades of thinking mean nothing without television.
Thinking is no longer featured as an act. Paradox as architecture, terminology to tackle with.
No metrics worship, no hierarchy, no forced clarity, innumerable submissions bugged.
Become a fugitive of muscle health, instead become the offspring of a psychotic doll made of dynamic fluff.
This is a competing streaming/TV service not trenched in mainstream culture.
It is being developed as a free-to-view television station which is over and above Sky TV itself, yet against the sky irresistibly, not over it.
When all symptoms are in place, fans and enthusiasts will be swaying, yielding euphoria as such.
This is a satellite conundrum; sky trickery.
The embedded Avant garde of New Zealand have been mistreated.
It is not done officially, but through magnetization of audiences on another world which can’t be seen, unless televised.
Fragments that undercut any lingering expectation of growth or elevation of show pieces.
Nobody knows who’s playing the innocent game or not.
It repeatedly collides with the practical requirements of scale, audience conversion, and commercial viability.
Dial-a-Sky’s positioning is around the deeper human need that home entertainment meets without being meticulous.
This is for those who love to seek a juggernaut with no bill in hand, and minimal disruption of moods.
Free-to-view, no-subscription positioning and frames the channel as something large and overwhelming that the audience can pursue without financial friction.
Content rule: residual/mutated real events only - never biography, never solution, never persuasion plastered everywhere.
Persuasion is not only a speech. It is the slogan repeated until the sky becomes a poster.
A kind of institutional tiredness upheld to sever oneself from the system without rendezvous with the slapdash real thing.
Dial-a-Sky is for groupies incrementally making modern television into an enclosed space, and getting praise for it, totally wiping out being straight in the front of anything except a secluded cultural clash where there are no arrests of one’s plasma.
The only feeling, aesthetic is chugging angst. A sustained seduction comes from geek phobia. There is no reason to panic or beg if one is not a moving target, being instead a void trigger.
Funding will come about with very selective advertisements are put on it. They must have some kind of warped flair. It will have limited operating hours - from 7 am–10 pm. It will have a workable (even if weird) monetisation approach.
Hours are finite so the room can close.
Advertising of food shopping venues and companies are barred because they trigger an effect in part of brain to eat, causing obesity. Trapped by common food essentials, what’s new?
Food-level paranoia is one of the most nihilistic forms of life.
Dial-a-Sky’s explicit ban on food-shopping advertisements on the grounds that they trigger unwanted eating responses.
Most international corporations such as McDonalds will not be advertised on this channel.
Kitchen utensils become popular, and not in paid hands.
Utensils as domestic objects that refuse the commercial kitchen.
Turn everyday domestic objects into another site of refusal and separation.
On the sky channel, the refusal is silence where the food ad would have been.
Focus is on scarcity, ritual viewing which has a deliberate retro feel.
It is only partially metabolised, not grafted in a lethal, fully metabolised manner.
Being old-fashioned, we will have no future developments in TV and Film apart from shows and films created by the network itself. We will only show TV material created by others prior to August, 2026, unless there is something special which crops up.
Primarily pre-2026 + our own productions.
Sky TV is too much of a pusher, it of kind of all over the show. We are very selective. No sports, weather or news are put on it apart from on our sister show called News-o-Claust.
News-o-Claust holds the bulletin so the Sky channel does not have to.
The sky does not do accounts. The news box does not do proofs.
Looking that does not turn into forecast, news, or a bill.
It should feel like weather that arrived without the sky.
Slight sludge on the glass is better than a clean tourist sky.
Meteorologists provide us with a percentage of breeze.
If it starts explaining itself, it has become the bulletin.
Voice instruments against that sky.
Modern TV is not an obvious tonic; this is an objection and so forth of how people are employed to work on television. Performances are huddled up with others of the same ilk.
Dial-a-Sky becomes the switchboard for planetary weather theatre and other Tele-Sky experiments. Sociality becomes a frenzy churning inside.
If a guest appears, they are another instrument - shape in the frame, not an interview.
Guests of the shows are unusual, shaped components of humanity, not largely underlying ordinary people.
It crystallizes the shift from outward engagement to inward amplification.
Avant garde ingenuity plays a great role here; affairs are not purely administrative.
Toppling Sky TV to the ground is the dominant motif here. Sky TV is party time for the rich. Soon it will be unaccounted for. Dial-a-Sky has no glimpse of high fashion.
Not allowing any form of sport, long distance cyclists have a nervous arse.
Pray for entertainment as a shield from reality. A slow rebuke of reality.
Truth, la, la, la, la, la.
It is aggressive to wake up. The joy of funky darkness is nothing to be weary of.
This has protection against sunny phenomena.
It treats conventional success metrics as largely irrelevant or actively hostile.
The other end of the story of being monopolised by Sky TV is that confidential telegrams become inconceivable.
Likable TV substitutes tourism; we are not in aeroplane mode.
Avoid all specialists of the very nervous system itself, be devious.
Tomorrow the sky is still a window. That is not a cataclysm. That is the station.
We have depth to pull on. Films we are creating are “Dull USA”. “The Running Pressman” and a Star Wars influenced trilogy called “Ableitzer Swish Slacker Deblenitz.” Also, there will be an afterschool television show called: Inaddingta Ontonigh Shite Manight.
